I studied from 1986 till 1991 at the Academy for Art in Arnhem.

I studied for a teacher manual skill.

During my study my work developed more and more minimalistic.

It is a challenge for me to create things with a minimum of material.

My interest is going to things I can find in nature, like roots, barks and stumps of a tree, stones, many kind of soils and remainders of ruins, like my panels with ceramics.

I lived many years in Portugal. Many of the materials I found in this beautiful country.

I am also always looking for special shapes and structures.

One of the objects I finished my bachelor is an object made of peat.
